Pursuant to section 105A of the Education Act 1989,
I hereby approve the following constitution for the Board
of Trustees of Al-Madinah School:
- Up to three trustees appointed by the Minister of Education (one of which will be designated by the Minister as chairperson);
- up to two trustees appointed by the school’s proprietors; and
- the principal of the school.
The first trustees under this constitution will not take office until a day set by the Secretary for Education which will also be the date upon which the current commissioner’s appointment will end.
Sections 104 and 102(8A) of the Education Act 1989 will apply in respect of the board.
