Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Jeremy Salmond, Acting Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on or around 8 March 2011, the Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance and the Honourable Steven Leonard Joyce, Minister of Transport, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 162 of that Act, for the
New Zealand Transport Agency to borrow $137 million from the Crown to fund the TEL roading project, on such terms and conditions as the Minister of Finance considers appropriate, to be captured in the loan agreement at the time the loan is required.
