Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"As at 4 February 2011, I, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown, provided a New Zealand Export Credit Office Buyer Credit Guarantee to Barclays Bank Plc in relation to a loan agreement between Barclays Bank Plc and its borrower. The New Zealand Export Credit Office Guarantee provided a maximum exposure of EUR 40,500,000. A premium, commensurate with the risk, was paid for this Guarantee."
