On 12 December 2007, the Commerce Commission
("the Commission") issued a standard terms determination, under section 30M of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), in respect of Telecom’s unbundled bitstream access service ("Decision 611").
On 19 December 2011, the Commission clarified Decision 611 under section 58(1) of the Act to clarify that Chorus’ EUBA(0) falls within the definition of a basic UBA service regulated by Decision 611 and required to be provided in accordance with the terms of that determination.
Pursuant to section 58(2) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice that it has clarified Decision 611 under section 58(1) of the Act.
