Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, extension of provisional recognition for the Retail Meat Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has been granted for a period of 15 months, with effect from
1 September 2011 to 30 November 2012, to set standards at Levels 1-8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the retail meat industries.
