Pursuant to section 395(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemptions:
- 1 from Marine Protection Rule 101A.7(3) - Surveys and Inspections - Oil - Enhanced surveys for oil tankers - oil tanker must have on board complete file of survey reports including the results of all scantling measurement required, as well as the statement of the structural work carried out
- 1 from Marine Protection Rule 101A.(4)(a) - Surveys and Inspections - Oil - Enhanced surveys for oil tankers - file required under rule 101A.7(3) is accompanied by a condition evaluation report
