Pursuant to section 79(5) of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("HSNO Act"), the Environmental Risk Management Authority New Zealand ("ERMA
New Zealand") advises that it approved on 23 June 2011,
the code of practice "Periodic Testing of Compressed Gas Cylinders to AS 2337.1: 2004 and AS 2337.3: 2006".
This code has been developed by ERMA New Zealand, pursuant to Regulation 52(3)(d) of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004.
The code sets out cylinder testing requirements equivalent to the requirements of the standard referred to in Regulation 52(3)(b), AS 2337.1:1999.
