Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition for the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation Incorporated as an industry training organisation has been granted from 9 February
2011 to 5 January 2013 to set standards at Levels 1-8
on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the blocklaying, bricklaying, masonry, monumental masonry and stonemasonry industries.
