Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the Communications and Media Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has been provisionally recognised as an industry training organisation with an extension of industry coverage from 9 February 2011 to 25 September 2013 to set standards at Levels 1-8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the signmaking industry.
