Under section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice declaring that conservation land become a reserve, dated the 3rd day of October 1995 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 October 1995, No. 110, page 3509, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.
Declaration that Conservation Land Become a Reserve
Pursuant to section 8(1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a sub-delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy for the Department of Conservation declares that the conservation area described in the Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977,
and classified as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Reserves Act, subject to the provisions of the latter Act, to be known as the Mount Bruce Scenic Reserve.
