Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator, Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, declares that the land described in the First Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further, authorises the exchange of that land for the land described in the Second Schedule, and specifies that the land in the latter Schedule be held for conservation purposes.
