Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for education purposes and shall vest in Her Majesty The Queen, subject to Part 9 of the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998; and
(b) Declares that the land described in the First Schedule (the servient tenement) is subject to the creation of an easement right to drain water over the land in the Second Schedule hereto in favour of the land in the Third Schedule (the dominant tenement), on the terms and conditions as set out in Schedule 4 to the Land Transfer Regulations 2002
on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
