Pursuant to section 78M(6) of the Education Act 1989,
I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1 April 2010, No. 39, page 1105.
The notice is amended by increasing the functions, powers and duties of the board vested in a limited statutory manager to include:
- all functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and
- all functions, powers and duties of the board for curriculum management (whether statutory or otherwise).
The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on community consultation, behaviour management and the development of the kura’s special character under Te Aho Matua.
This notice takes effect on the day of its publication.
