Pursuant to section 28(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act
2004, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government (in the absence from New Zealand of His Excellency the Governor-General) has appointed the following members
to the Electricity Authority, as established under the Electricity Industry Act 2010:
Dr Thomas Brent Layton ONZM, of Wellington
as a member and chairperson (pursuant to clause 1(2) of Schedule 5 of the Crown Entities Act 2004) for five years;
Susan Marie Paterson, of Auckland
for five years;
Elena Josephine Trout, of Auckland
for five years;
Hon Roger Morrison Sowry, of Paraparaumu Beach
for 18 months; and
David John Bull, of Martinborough
for 18 months.
All appointments take effect on 1 November 2010.
