Pursuant to section 5 of the Rating Valuations Act 1998, public notice is given that amendments to the Rating Valuations Rules 2008 have been made and will come into force on 1 October 2010.
- Rule 2.9(b) requires local authorities to display on rating valuation notices for Maori freehold land the adjustments that have been applied to rating valuations for Maori freehold land.
- An amendment to the audit file in Appendix A expands the layout of the electronic audit files. This is necessary to accommodate the amalgamation of the district valuation rolls for the Auckland Super City.
