Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Aranui High School Board of Trustees because of the risks to the educational performance of the students in the schools belonging to the Aranui Resource Teacher: Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) cluster.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board, in relation to the Aranui Resource Teachers: Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) cluster, are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:
- All functions, powers and duties of the board to manage the operations of the RTLB cluster (whether statutory or otherwise);
- all functions, powers and duties of the board for financial management of the RTLB cluster (whether statutory or otherwise); and
- all functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer in relation to the RTLB cluster (whether statutory or otherwise).
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
