Following consideration of an application made under section 51 of the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008 ("the Act"), and after consultation with the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Commerce, I give notice that I have granted approval under section 53 of the Act to the dispute resolution scheme called Financial Services Complaints Limited established under the documents entitled The Constitution of Financial Services Complaints Limited dated the 6th day of November 2009, the Terms of Reference of the Financial Services Complaints Limited Scheme Operated by Financial
Services Complaints Limited dated the 17th day of March 2010 and the Terms of Participation in the Financial Services Complaints Limited Scheme dated the 17th day of March 2010.
Financial Services Complaints Limited has the purpose of addressing and resolving complaints, free of charge to complainants, relating to financial services provided by its members who must be financial service providers.
