Under sections 42 and 43 of the Ngati Tama Claims Settlement Act 2003 and section 56(1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby appoints
the members named in the Schedule to be a joint advisory committee for the purposes of the Ngati Tama Claims Settlement Act.
Each member shall hold office for a term of five years from 28 February 2010.
The Conservator, Wanganui, and the Taranaki Area Manager of the Department of Conservation Wanganui Conservancy are appointed ex officio and, in the case of
the Conservator, the Conservator’s nominee may attend meetings on the Conservator’s behalf and exercise all the functions of a member of the committee.
Paul Douglas Silich shall be the chairperson of the committee.
