Pursuant to section 5 and clause 1 of the Schedule to the Transport Accident Investigation Commission Act 1990,
the Governor-General of New Zealand and the Minister of Transport appoint
John Livingston Marshall QC
as a member to the Transport Accident Investigation Commission for a term from 8 March 2010 to 7 March 2015; and as Chief Commissioner from 1 May 2010.
