Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme
In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of a charitable trust established by the will of
the late Maria Rossi Scott, of Auckland:
Take notice that the late Maria Rossi Scott, who died
at Auckland on 8 January 2009, by her will bequeathed
one-fifth of her residuary estate to Bird Rescue Auckland Incorporated.
Take notice that on Monday 6 December 2010, Reyburn Charles Culpan and Matthew Joseph Koppens, the executors and trustees in the said estate, will apply to
the High Court in Auckland for approval of a scheme whereby they will as executors transfer that one-fifth share to the trustees for the time being of New Zealand Bird Rescue Charitable Trust.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme must, not less than seven clear days before the hearing date, give written notice of their intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Auckland, to the trustees of the estate, and to the Attorney-General as follows:
(a) The address for notice to the High Court is PO Box 60, Shortland Street, Auckland 1140.
(b) The address for notice to the trustees of the estate is care of Wynyard Wood, Solicitors, PO Box 2217, Auckland 1140, for the attention of Rodney Ewen.
(c) The address for notice to the Attorney-General is care of Crown Law Office, PO Box 2858, Wellington 6140, for the attention of Craig Linkhorn.
