Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the New Zealand Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

1. Title and commencement-This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2010/08 and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Amendment-The New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:
- Adding the following paragraph to Schedule 1, Part C:
"(e) The section of State Highway No. 1 at Woodend, from 70m north of Gladstone Road to 55m south of Petries Road: a distance of approximately 300m."
- Replace line 510 in Schedule 3 to read:
