Pursuant to subclauses 3.4(10) and 3.4(11) of the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004 and pursuant to a sub-delegation to me by the New Zealand Transport Agency, I, Glenn Bunting, Network Standards and Safety Manager, hereby authorise the continuation beyond
Friday 30 April 2010 of the installation and maintenance
of experimental alternative (nearside) pedestrian signal displays at seven locations in Lower Hutt and Petone as described in the notice entitled "Alternative Pedestrian Traffic Signal Display Trial Extension"* in accordance with the conditions set out in Schedules 1 and 2 of the notice entitled "Alternative Pedestrian Traffic Signal Display Trial"† until either this Rule is amended to allow their use or a decision is made not to so amend this Rule.
