Comments are invited on the following proposed maritime rules developed under the Maritime Transport Act 1994:
Part 19 - Maritime Transport Operator Certification
Part 44 - Surveys, Certification and Maintenance for Ships Used Within Maritime Transport Operations
These rules will replace current rule Parts 21 and 46.

Written submissions - online, email, and by post - must be made by 2 July 2010, addressed to MOSS Consultation.
Written submissions presented orally must have an appointment with Maritime New Zealand arranged prior to 28 May 2010.
Verbal submissions can be made by preregistering to attend one of the road shows.
