Pursuant to section 79(5) of the Hazardous Substances
and New Organisms Act 1996 ("HSNO Act"), the Environmental Risk Management Authority advises that
it has approved, on 23 February 2010, the Code of Practice HSNOCOP 7-2 Fibre Reinforced Compressed Gas Cylinder to DOT-E 7235.
This code has been developed by Luxfer Gas Cylinders and provides a means of compliance with the requirements of Regulation 10(c) of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004 in respect of cylinders for the transport and use of LPG.
Pursuant to section 80(1) of the HSNO Act, this code may be inspected on request at the Wellington office of the Environmental Risk Management Authority of New Zealand, Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington.
