Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice classifying a reserve dated the 7th day of April 2009 and published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 16 April 2009, No. 49, page 1234, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.
Classification of Reserve, Appointment of the Wellington Regional Council to Control and Manage the Reserve, and Declaration That the Reserve Forms Part of the Queen Elizabeth Park Recreation Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation
reserve, appoints the Wellington Regional Council to control and manage the reserve for recreation purposes, and declares the said reserve to form part of the Queen Elizabeth Park recreation reserve.
The appointment to control and manage the reserve is subject to the Minister being able to recover any local or regional authority rates from the council if such rates are levied and paid by the Crown.
