Notice Redefining the Name and the Beneficiaries of a Maori Reservation

On the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land, being the block referred to in the Schedule
as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 May 2006, No. 42, page 1131 (ln3117), was set aside as a Maori reservation.
Pursuant to sections 338(5)(c) and 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the name of the said Maori reservation is hereby redefined and shall be known as Matahuru Papakainga Marae Reservation of Waikato Tainui, loyal to the Kingitanga and further redefined from being for the common use and benefit of the owners of Allotment 892B Parish of Taupiri and their descendants to being for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Makirangi and Ngati Mahuta hapu.
