Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. A. Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 18 and shall remain vested in the Crown, which has the effect of adding the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to State Highway 18 pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003 and shall vest in the Crown;
(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 52(1), set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown;
(c) Pursuant to section 52(1), declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown
on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
