Notice is hereby given that the Crown, under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto ("the land").
The land described in the Schedule to this notice is
required for road, namely for the Te Rapa Bypass at State Highway 1, Hamilton.
It is necessary to acquire the easement interest specified
in the Schedule so that the easement can be extinguished when the land is taken for road.
The project is required to cater for increasing traffic volumes and to improve the safety and efficiency of State Highway 1 and the local road network.
The owner of the land and those persons with a registered interest in it have been served with notice of the Crown's intention to take their land and their right to object.
Any other person having the right to object may send
a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court,
PO Box 7147, Auckland, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held with the right of the objector to appear and be heard personally unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

(b) That part of the dominant easement interest (drainage right) specified in conveyance 310613 and registered document S644432 located on the boundary between the areas shown as Section 18, Section 17 and Section 12 on SO 416124 and appurtenant to the land in Computer Freehold Registers SA68D/129, SA54B/393 SA68D/123, SA68D/124, SA68D/125, SA68D/126 and SA 68D/127.
The land is situated at Te Kowhai Road, Te Rapa, Hamilton.
