Under section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Minister of Defence revokes the notice authorising the secondary use of land for reserve dated the 26th day of January 1998 and published in the New Zealand Gazette,
2 July 1998, No. 89, page 2036, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.
Authorising a Secondary Use of Land
Pursuant to section 191 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Defence:
(a) Authorises the application of the land described in the Schedule being land primarily held for buildings of the general government (defence purposes) to the secondary use of a scenic reserve under the Reserves Act 1977.
(b) Specifies that the following provisions of the Reserves Act 1977 shall apply to the land subject to any limitations referred to herein: Sections 19, 40A, 40B, 42,
49, 50, 51, 55, 93–99 inclusive, 101–106 inclusive and 118.
(c) Vests control in the Minister of Conservation.
