Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Tongariro-Taupo Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the appointment of
the Owhango Reserves Board (as published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 13 June 1912, No. 52, page 1915)
and appoints the Ruapehu District Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule, subject to the provisions of the Act, as a recreation reserve.
