Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"On 11 November 2009, I, The Honourable Simon James Power, Acting Minister of Finance, on behalf of
the Crown gave to QANTAS AIRWAYS LIMITED
an indemnity in relation to the Charter of a Boeing 747 for the transportation of freight on behalf of the
New Zealand Defence Force."
