Pursuant to section 78M(6) of the Education Act 1989, I hereby amend the notice dated the 13th day of January 2009 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 January
2009, No. 5, page 115, directing the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Wairakei School Board of Trustees.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are vested in the limited statutory manager:
? All functions, powers and duties of the employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
? all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise);
? all functions, powers and duties of board organisation and management (whether statutory or otherwise); and
? ensuring the development and implementation of an action plan to address issues identified in the June 2009 and any subsequent Education Review Office reports.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
