Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Roderick James Cooper, hereby declare that a state of local emergency exists in the Turangi/
Tongariro Ward.
The state of local emergency came into force at 4.00pm on 29 June 2009.
This state of local emergency expires at 12.00 midday on
3 July 2009 or with the commencement of the 7th day after the date on which this declaration was declared, whichever is the earliest.
