Pursuant to section 4D of the Education Act 1989, I give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign Students) Notice 2009.
(2) This notice will come into effect on 1 January 2010.
2. Fees to be reimbursed by boards to the Crown—Every board of trustees of a State school and State integrated school must pay to the Secretary for Education a fee of $420.00 (including GST) in respect of each foreign student enrolled at the school.
3. Revocation—This notice revokes the Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign Students) Notice 2007, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 June 2007, No. 74, page 1889.
