Pursuant to section 8 of the Electoral Act 1993 and
section 28 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, The Honourable Sir Anand Satyanand, Q.S.O., Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby appoint to the Electoral Commission
David Robert Henry, consultant of Upper Hutt
to be a commissioner and the chief executive for a term of one year; and further appoint, pursuant to Schedule 5, clause 1(2) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the aforementioned
David Robert Henry
as the deputy chairperson, both appointments to be effective from 2 June 2009.
