Pursuant to section 9(1) of the Health and Disability Commissioner Act 1994 and section 28(1)(b) of the
Crown Entities Act 2004, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, on my recommendation as responsible Minister, has appointed
Tania Anne Thomas
as a Deputy Health and Disability Commissioner for a term commencing on 5 March 2009 and expiring on 28 February 2014.
This appointment was made by way of written notice to the Deputy Health and Disability Commissioner (with a copy to the entity) pursuant to section 28(2) of the Crown Entities Act 2004.
