Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947 and, on the recommendation of the Attorney-General, after consultation with the Minister for the Environment and
the Minister of Maori Affairs, pursuant to section 250
of the Resource Management Act 1991, His Excellency
the Governor-General of New Zealand, has been pleased
to appoint
David Fergus George Sheppard, retired Environment Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand for a period of
two years on and from 1 April 2009 and to be an alternate Environment Judge of the Environment Court on and from
1 April 2009.
