In terms of section 24C(2) of the Judicature Act 1908 after consultation with the Chief High Court Judge, I nominate
The Honourable Justice Geoffrey John Venning, Judge of the High Court of New Zealand
as a Judge to help the Judge nominated to supervise the Commercial List established at the office of the High Court, Auckland, under section 24A of the Judicature Act 1908, and to supervise the list when that Judge is absent from duty.
The nomination takes effect from 8 December 2009.
