1. The Board of Drug Free Sport New Zealand has made the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2010) ("2010 Rules") under section 16 of the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006. The 2010 Rules amend the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2009) and incorporate revised World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards.
2. The 2010 Rules incorporate by reference the following World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards:
(a) World Anti-Doping Agency The 2010 Prohibited List International Standard;
(b) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions, effective 1 January 2010;
(c) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Testing, effective 1 January 2009;
(d) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Laboratories, effective 1 January 2009; and
(e) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information, effective 1 June 2009.
3. The 2010 Rules and the material incorporated by reference can be inspected free of charge during normal working hours at Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Level 2, 321 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland.

The Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2010) come into force on
1 January 2010.
