Amendment Bylaw 2009/17
Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the New Zealand Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

1. Title and commencement-This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2009/17 and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Amendments-The New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:
(a) Adding the following paragraph to Schedule 1, Part C:
"(d) The section of State Highway No.1 (Great South Road) in Ngaruawahia, from a point 115 metres north-west of Ellery Street to 20 metres south-east of Belt Street: a distance of approximately 480 metres."
(b) Amending line 111 in Schedule 3 to read:

Distance from nearest Road/Feature: 70 metres
north-east of River Road to 115 metres north-west
