Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992,
full recognition for the Funeral Service Training Trust of New Zealand has been granted for a further period of five years, with effect from 24 June 2009 to 24 June 2014, to set standards at Levels 1-8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the funeral industry (defined as funeral directing and embalming).
