Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority gives notice that the Environmental Risk Management Agency intends to apply for approval of the Code of Practice for Below Ground Petroleum Stationary Container Systems.
This code has been developed by the Environmental Risk Management Agency and sets out a means of compliance with the requirements of clauses 33(a), 73(3)(a)(iii), 73(3)(b)(iii) and 86 of the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004 (as amended) in respect of stationary container systems that are installed below ground.
