Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as local purpose (esplanade) reserve over the land described in the
Schedule and further declares that the lands may be
disposed of by the Marlborough District Council for market value, the proceeds from sale to be used and applied in
or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of
other land for reserves.
