Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Westland District Council on 17 July 2008:
“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by
section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Westland District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by it in fee simple in Computer Freehold Register WS2B/374 and known as Preston’s Bush, shall be declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”
