Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy
of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a historic reserve for the purposes specified in section 18(1) of the Act, and declares that it forms part of the Otatara Pa Historic Reserve.
