Pursuant to sections 20(1) and 28 of the Public Works
Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for
Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into:
(a) The land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and vested in the Hawke's Bay Regional Council;
(b) The easement described in the Second Schedule to this notice is acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes upon the terms and conditions set out in the Fourth Schedule of the Land Transfer Regulations 2002 and shall vest in the Hawke's Bay Regional Council
on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

A right to drain water and right to convey electricity and telecommunications easement in gross over those parts of Lot 1 DP 27167 (Computer Freehold Register HBW3/599) and Lot 3 Deeds Plan 406 (Computer Freehold Register HBC4/92); marked "A" and "B" on DP 378173.
