Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori
Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the land described in the Schedule hereto that was set
apart as a Maori reservation by notice published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 12 January 1961, No. 1, page 4, is hereby redefined for the purpose of a marae and meeting place known as Weeraroa Marae for the common use
and benefit of the Ngati Tahinga tribe and sub-tribes
Ngati Te Kura, Ngati Pare and Ngati Karewa.
