Under section 16(10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the South Wairarapa District Council resolved on 20 December 2007 to declare the parcel of reserve land held in fee simple by the council and described in the Schedule to this notice to
be given the new name of Otauira Reserve (formerly Lake Wairarapa Lookout).

Reserve located at the base of the Rimutaka Hill Road, Featherston, on the southern side of the road, previously known as the Lake Wairarapa Lookout and legally described as part Section 338 Featherston Suburban.
