Pursuant to section 11 of the Commodity Levies (Satsuma Mandarins) Order 2003, Satsuma mandarin growers and collection agents are advised that the levy rate for the year ending 31 March 2009 was decided at the annual general meeting held on 3 September 2007.
From 1 April 2008, the levy rate for Satsuma mandarins (except those sold for processing) will be reduced from
one cent per kilogram to half a cent per kilogram.
