Pursuant to section 164(3)(a) of the Animal Products Act 1999, I give notice of the issue on 9 December 2008, of the following notices in relation to the export of live animals and germplasm:
(a) The Animal Products (Requirements for Issue and Control of Official Assurances) Notice 2008, issued pursuant to section 167(1)(k) of the Animal Products Act 1999.
(b) The Animal Products (Recognised Agencies and Persons Specifications) Notice 2008, issued pursuant to sections 167(1)(m), (o), (p) and (q) of the Animal Products Act 1999.
The above notices amend previous notices issued on
1 September 2008 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 4 September 2008, No. 136, page 3613, and come into force on 1 February 2009.
